East Riding Photo Competition Deadline draws near

THE DEADLINE for the Capturing the East Riding Photography Competition is on Friday, 30th September 2011, with residents urged not to miss the opportunity to show off their creative talent and be in with the chance of winning a great prize.
Entries have been coming in steadily and are being uploaded to the online gallery of the competition website.
The competition is open to all amateur photographers. Eligible photos must have been taken in the East Riding on or after 1 October 2009. They should be a minimum of 300 dpi or 5 MB. Full details are available on the website.
After the competition closes, entries will be judged and the winners exhibited at the Beverley Art Gallery in 2012.
Organised by the East Riding Cultural Partnership, the competition has received generous support from a host of partners: East Riding of Yorkshire Council, arvato, Burton Agnes Hall, Coast, Wolds, Wetlands and Waterways LEADER Programme, Hull and East Yorkshire Mind, National Centre for Early Music, Pocklington Arts Society, Press Association, Stewart’s Burnby Hall Gardens and Museum and South Cliff Caravan Park.
