East Riding Council Agenda - 24th November
IN A FIRST for this website, HU12 is re-producing the entire East Riding of Yorkshire Council agenda for its meeting to be held on Wednesday 24th November. It is hoped that this can help community activists in the HU12 post code area to easily access and review important council documents. This will help facilitate the army of 'armchair auditors' and others working to keep our democracy open and accountable.
The Agenda below is the 'summons' to councillors to attend the meeting. At 139 pages it is a lengthy document but contains lots of material which people from public, private and voluntary sector organisations will find of interest.
My items of note were the formal announcement of free parking at council car-parks, a report on the potential benefits of Wildlife and Nature Tourism to the area, report on living with dementia, and the review of the council's early retirement policy which will be of particular interest in light of earlier media coverage of excessive pay-outs to top officers.
If you can not see or navigate the box.net file below, then please let the Editor know. The agenda is also available at the council's own website here.
