New Transitional Fund to help larger voluntary groups facing public sector cuts

"Helping civil society organisations which deliver public services become stronger, more agile and adjust to the new spending environment"

THE £100m TRANSITIONAL FUND has been established by the Government to support larger voluntary and community groups that have previously delivered public services paid for out of public spending. It is a funding source that will help those organisations that face an uncertain future due to cuts in public spending.

The BIG Fund (National Lottery) will administer the Transition fund on behalf of the Office of Civil Society and will be open to civil society organisations in England with an income of between £50,000 and £10 million.

The BIG Fund are holding a regional breifing event in Leeds on 14th December 10am to midday. If you are interested in attending please email transitionyh@bigfund.org.uk.org.uk with your name, phone number, organisation, address and any access requirements. Due to space constraints, registration is limited to one person per organisation. Spaces will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
