EBP Schools Calendar 2011 Competition

THE HUMBER Education Business Partnership (EBP) is running its annual calendar competition. They want to find a selection of pictures from primary school children to have printed on its calendars.

The theme is local history - a great opportunity to illustrate your favourite piece of history from the Humber. This could be a famous historical landmark or figure.

All entries will be in with a chance to win a fantastic prize for you and your school: 1st Prize: £25 Toys R US voucher for you and a video camera for your school. There will be three runner-up prizes: £10 Toys R US vouchers.

The winning entry and runners-up will have their drawings framed and returned to school. The competition is open to all primary school children (all ages) from across the Humber sub-region and the winning design will be printed on the Humber EBP 2011 Calendar and distributed to businesses and schools across the region.

* Designs must be original artwork.
* They can be drawn or painted.
* Designs must be no bigger than A4.
* Your name, age, school and year group must be clearly printed on the back of your design in Pencil or Biro (to avoid it “coming through” and showing up on the design).
* Unfortunately drawings cannot be returned.

Entries must be received by 22nd October 2010 and the winner will be announced by 12th November 2010. (Pupils with winning entries will require parental permission for use of their picture and name to appear in any publicity materials)
